Station Information

Altadena Sheriff’s Station
780 E. Altadena Drive
Altadena, CA 91001
Station Phone: 626-798-1131

The Altadena Station is located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains between the cities of Pasadena, La Canada-Flintridge, Sierra Madre, and the Angeles National Forest. It services around 90,000 residents of Altadena and Pasadena.

As early as 1928 the Altadena Sheriff’s Department was wire-linked to every county and state agency by teletype, helping to form the first National Criminal Advisory Network. In July of 1948 ground was cleared for a new Altadena Civic Center at Foothill Boulevard (Altadena drive) and El Molino and this would also be the location of the current Altadena Sheriff’s Station. The station is open 24/7.

Those arrested by the Altadena LASD Station are often taken to the Crescenta Valley Jail once they have been booked into the system. Low grade crime suspects are booked at the station and may be held there until their court date. If the offense is alcohol or drug related, the suspect will stay at the sheriff’s station until they can safely care for themselves.
